It’s been hot hot hot day lately. Yes, it did rain, but still HOT! Weather goes haywire I supposed. @.@
In such weather, one would resort to something to cool down. The best option would be…

COCONUTS!
Having coconut drink during hot weather is like owning a designer bag. But having coconut drink with bunch of friends is like owning few designer bags! XD
When the KL gang went up to Penang few months ago, we decided to drop by this famous coconut place at Abu Siti Lane. The Anba.

Immediately we ordered the pandan coconut, and quickly relished our thirst with this cold pandan coconut juice. Hmmm~* refreshing!
I knew I couldn’t finish the entire coconut, so I shared with Sat. I took few sips and then started snapping portrait pictures of the gang.

That’s David, enjoying each sip of the coconut juice! Hoho!
Next, Jess, my half-sisto! Nom-ing away!

She scrapped the whole shell clean can! XD
Next, the birthday boy, HUNGWEI! It’s his birthday today – 15th Oct. Go wish him now!

Happy birthday kaima! Bila mau kahwin? XD
My kawan lama, Munnnnnnn!

She’s the part-time coconut salesgirl! Haha! See her promoting the coconut around! *runs before she kills me*
Here’s Sat busy digging the coconut meat! For me ofcz. Haha!

I realised I forgotten to take portrait picture of AA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ARRGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Aaron, dui mm chu. Mm kei tak yeng lei geh siong.
*bow nonstop for apologies*
Luckily, I have one of him here, in the group! *phew*

It’s fun hanging out with the gang, and I yearn for such outing now, especially when I’m working now. I really looking forward to weekends nowadays! Especially the LONG ones! HAHAHA!
Again, I didn’t appear in any of the pictures here because I’m the photographer mah! Hehe!
It’s been awhile since I blogged. Many things had happened few weeks ago resulted in my absence in blogosphere. So here I am now, begin my post in September with a food post.
On my convocation day, B and I went over to meet up with the geng at Delicious, Midvalley after sending my parents off at KL Sentral. From there they boarded the KLIA Express to KLIA for night flight.
Everyone was already there when we reached. We placed our orders and soon one by one the food came.
Munn’s Aglio Olio Spaghettini (RM15.90).

Unsure why it’s called spaghettini instead of spaghetti though. Lol! The dish did look plain to me, just spaghetti with sprinkle of herb and pepper? Taste wise – that you have to ask her. Hehe.
David’s sis’s Smoked Salmon Angelhair.

It looked appetizing – probably because of the salmon (my fav!) and caviar. However I didn’t know if the dish tastes great or otherwise. Hehe. Ask Melody bout this! The dish costs RM24.90.
David’s Caesar Salad.

I wanted to order this initially, but due to some reason I didn’t. A bit regretted for not ordering this, as the portion is big and it looks yummy! Don’t think anything can go wrong for a Caeser Salad. Costs : RM19.90
Sat’s Carbonara Spaghettini.

It supposed to be Carbonara Spaghettini with Wild Mushrooms, Beef Bacon, Oregano & Cream. Because B couldn’t eat beef, he asked for chicken instead. It still costs the same for the change, RM19.90 per plate.
I tried his dish. Since I’m not a fan of any creamy sauce spaghetti, so I couldn’t say anything about the dish. To me, it tastes creamy. Haha.
My Chicken Avocado. RM19.90.

I don’t like this.
The bread is okay. The avocado is fresh. But the chicken is not in my favour.
I understand bout the chicken chunk in sandwich being cold, but the chunks are too hard! Not to mention it was bit tasteless. I felt like I was working my jaws, munching them hard to turn them into small pieces.
Aaron’s Mushroom Mascarpone Spaghettini. RM20.90

Should be Aaron’s, if my memory didn’t fail me. It looks inviting, and I could see lots mushroom chunks in it. And I wonder what’s ‘Mascarpone’ tastes like. Hehe.
Saewei’s Tunisian Eggplant & Roasted Tomato Spaghettini. Rm17.90.

If my memory didn’t fail me (again), this one should belong to Saewei. Hehe. Looks spicy from far – probably because of the tomato sauce. Haha! Taste wise, ask Saewei!
From the picture, I think the plate on the upper left should be Firewire’s Mama’s Beef Bolognese Spaghettini. Rm19.90 per plate. From what I heard and read around, the mama’s beef bolognese spaghettini is delicious! Just like the name of the restaurant! Haha.
Unfortunately I was unable to snap the food Ricky ordered. He sat TOO far from me and I was bit lazy to walk to his place and take picture. Plus, people would look at me if I do so. Haha!
Next – dessert!

Melody’s Choco Brownie + vanilla ice cream! Something I would like to have, but my tummy was too bloated. I bet it tastes fantastic! *drools*
Anyway, the reason why we meet up at Delicious was to celebrate Jess’s birthday! *yay*

But suddenly they threw in presents for me – for my convo+birthday. I felt so touched because I never expect anything from anyone. Just wanna see them for I missed them so much..*tears*
Back to Delicious, it’s a wonderful place to catch up with friends as they have nice comfy seats, cosy sofas with pillows.

So, if you’re looking for delicious yet cheap food, then this is not the to go as you’re paying for the atmosphere. But if you’re the person who don’t mind paying for nice, special place to dine, then visit Delicious! You can find them at 1Utama and Bangsar Village II too.
Food : 6.5/10; Environment : 8/10
Btw, Happy Birthday Aaron!

*BIG Yawn*
Cambodia post should be up next week, hopefully. Still in the initial phase of pictures editing. Blame on lack of time to edit. Hehe!
Today I shall talk bout Skytrex!
Skytrex Adventure, located in Taman Pertanian Malaysia Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam in Shah Alam, offers an outdoor recreational activity that makes everyone’s heart pumps faster and proves that Charles Darwin’s theory is true!
Lol!
If you’re wondering what nonsense I’m talking about, you’ll know why later. Those who went before will understand gua.
Months ago, (really really MONTHS ago), Satkuru, William and I decided to give a go after hearing/reading about it from Sat’s friend, David who happens to be a volunteer there.
We drove all the way there on a sunny afternoon. After reaching, Satkuru gave his name at the counter and three of us were ‘chauffered’ on a bus to the heart of the reserved forest.
After 20 minutes of bumpy bus ride, the sight of net, ropes and planks greeted us.

We walked towards a small hut where we registered and signed an indemnity form. Then we kept our bags in their locker, got our harness and gloves and walked toward the training site where we’ll be given a short briefing and tried all the obstacles on a smaller scale.
Because there’s a group of people at the ‘training site’, we explored the ‘Little Adventure’ course which caters the kids and took few pictures of the area.

YES, ALL OF US TOOK OUR DSLR THERE! HAHAHAHA!
So damn heavy, but luckily not I carried. Hahaha!
The group took such a longgggg time at the training site that we waited almost an hour there!
@.@

And then it was our turn. It was SOOOOO FUNNNNN! Especially the flying fox. However climbing the net after the flying fox was abit hard for me. I’m not a monkey ler!

Once finished all the obstacles in the training ground, we started our real stinct! Yeah!
In order to clear the whole course, we had to move from tree to tree via few routes suspended from 3m to 22m above ground. These courses totally test our strength, conquer our fear and push our ability to the max!
First, we had to climb a ladder mounted to very long tree! All the way UP to the first platform. It may look easy, but seriously after halfway thru, you’ll feel like giving up. T.T
Then it was the part where I love! The hanging bridge!
How I wished I can took my own sweet time walking through the bridge.
But I CANT since there’s freaking someone yelling CEPAT CEPAT. ZZzzzz… Potong stim.
And then the real deal came. Walking through the zig-zag planks, ‘hopping’ the 2 ft apart planks, walking through swinging logs, flying fox – total of 23 obstacles that will definitely put your body to extreme pains for days. Unless you got a good stamina ler. Hahaha!
However, if you’re the ‘chicken’ type of person or realise that you unable to overcome your fear, there’s always a exit point for you to cabut. Haha.
We finished the whole course at around 4 something, if not mistaken. It rained soooo heavily after that. IT was really blast, but it WOULD be better if we weren’t rush to finish up the whole thing faster due to the weather la. zzz.
Conclusion, SkyTrex is indeed MUST-TRY activity if you’re the adventurous seeker. If you’re not, you can still try it – for fun. Lol!
P/s – Didn’t take much picture as my dslr is carried by Sat while doing the challenges and Satkuru stopped talking pictures after being rushed and I didn’t get pictures from William.

Hmm.. Maybe I should get that hat since it made me look feminine! AHAKS!
IT was somewhere in late November when I met up with them for the last time before I head back to Penang for good. Besides making this a ‘surprise’ party for Mr. Leong (which was also a surprise farewell party for me as well), we decided to venture into new place for food instead of the ol’ Murni, Chilis, TGIF etc2.
And after reading numerous blogs and recommendation from Jess and Steven(they went there not long ago, if not mistaken), we settled for Fullhouse.

I was awed when I walked into this place. It was so cosy, modern, white, sleek, chic, and and.. I should probably stop describing on as might end up writing adjectives that carries the same meaning here. Lol!
I simply adore all the things that are being sold in this ‘lifestyle store/cafe’. But, I didn’t bother to check on the price though, as I was at the verge of being broke that month. Too many outings! T.T

We were led to upstairs to a white lonnnng table of 10 and were given 3 kawaii-looking-menu ONLY. I was like, wtfish.. Why gave us 3 menu when there were 6 of us there?
So I thought MAYBEEE they didn’t expect they’ll have many customers dining, so didn’t bother to ‘print’ much menu.
Or maybe the waiter thought that sharing is caring. LOL!
Oh well, we took turns to read the menu, placed our orders, continued chatting, and snapping while waiting for another 2 kawan to come.
One by one, our drinks came. They were very colourful, I likey!

But the thing that really caught my eyes was the stirrer. Those cute lil glasses at the end of the stirrer, awww… I want oneeee…. Eh no, I want allllllll… *greed clouded my mind*

If you look careful enough, you can spot Aaron’s signature eyebrow in the picture above. Hiak hiak hiak!
Then slowly the food came. First, Steven’s nasi lemak.

Followed by Aaron’s steak.

And Jess’s chicken chop. Very big hor the potion!

Lastly, B’s fish and chips.

If you were wondering what Mr. Leong and I had that night, I’ll gladly tell you that we ordered
their famous wok-seor chicken chop that came more than 2 hours later. T.T
You must be thinking, how could it be that long? I must be miscalculating the time.
Well, WaiSeng and Crystal came an hour late due to traffic jam had ordered and finished their food, yet our food haven’t arrived. Aaron even had second rounds after feeling that he wasn’t full, still no food in front of us. And my gastric already attacking my poor stomach that time. T.T
Yes, it was that bad. Up the extend that Mr. Leong bising-ed there and demanded to see the manager. (Don’t ever anger our Mr. Leong, lol).
And the reason of all those delay?
IS because they didn’t key in our order. -_-”
Again, I was shocked to hear that. I’m pretty sure that I wasn’t the last person to place order, moreover we ordered 2 of those, not one. So, how can they didn’t/forgotten to key in our order. Plus, we did remind them over and over again for our food when we realised that something was amiss. So, giving that kind of reason was simply ridiculous and unacceptable!
Apparently our table wasn’t the only one had trouble that night, some other table had problems too. I heard from the guys when they settled the bill downstairs, one of the customers even told to the cashier that they’ll never dine there again due to bad service.
I was like, WAHHHH! That terrible ar?!
Anyway, after we got our food, Mr. Leong’s anger gone down the drain and everyone was back to joyful mood. We had some ‘photography session’ at the table and at the ‘bedroom section’ with the props before leaving Fullhouse.

Aww.. the menu cute kan?
IF you ask me is it worth going to Fullhouse for a meal, I would say it’s IF you’re going for the atmosphere. The food is rather okay only so yeah, I’d say your money goes to the atmosphere, the-special-feel’ and the kawaii-looking-décors found in the building.

Before ending this post, I MUST MUST MUST post this pic where I look ala Paris Hilton (minus the clothing la) while B look like a nerd from school!
B don’t keeeel me ya.. *hides under blanket*

-XOXO
( Hugs and Kisses and Love and Kisses)
P/s – To the people who went with me, MANA PHOTOS! Especially the group photos, I want them!!!

Probably I should go back there – or go to Perhentian. I want island vacation. Deprieved of one. T.T
Anyway, now back to my Redang post part II – let us see more pictures of Redang. Maybe seeing them back could make you guys feel like going there again with me ler. *shifty look*

Ops. Wrong picture. Haha. That’s Daniel pointing to Shoutout logo drawn by Lasker. Well, they’re trying to promote Shoutout there – but they didn’t leave behind the url, how can people join wor. Hmm.
Anyway, today I shall bring you to another part of the island.

From our resort, we walked towards nearly end of the beach, past a 100m of lalang field, balanced ourselves for a stretch of uneven stone-y and dead corals bay, climbed up few big stones, skipped to avoid a small river of waste water while pinching our nose and finally another 100m of tar road to reach this popular beach – the Long Beach. (If not mistaken, ppl called that Long Beach lar. Lmao)

It was definitely worth going all those to reach here since it was more happening here, especially night time. Probably because few popular resorts are located here, like the Laguna Redang Resort.

Plus the colourful iconic house, More More Tea Inn – popularised by the movie Summer Holiday, is situated here too. Well, the More More Tea Inn is not an inn, but a two storey gift shop.

and not forgetting the most-photographed-thing-in-Redang, the headless woodboard. Lol!

Not enough for all the guys I guess. They had to take turns. Lol!
It was fun hanging out there. You can just wear your sunnies and just observing people like what Wendy did.

Or just snipe at pretty bikini girl.. *phew-witttt*

or jump around with a bunch of crazy people like what they did here. Lol!

Or just soaked ur feets onto the cold sand.

(Argh! All those really made me miss my island vacation alot! T.T )
We made several trips back and fro between our resort and Long Beach. We even went at night! But that was only once, and we spotted a rather reddish moon. Or was it purplish? I can’t remember. Lol!
Our vacation was so freaking relaxing (goodness, the hammock lying thingy was so blardy nice! – i forgot to add in earlier) that almost everyone was so reluctant to head home. We went for 4 days 3 nights; a day longer than my previous Redang trip, but it was nicer! The last time I went, I didn’t have enough of Redang and therefore I decided to go back there again in 2008. But now, I guess I shall put Redang aside and start looking for the possible islands to go. Like Perhentian, Phi Phi, Phuket or even Krabi. Hehehe!
