Instag.ram has been a great source of discovering new places on food. Off and on friends from KL would post up food photo that looks so yummylicious that I almost lick my phone’s screen in mistake.
Marmalade Cafe came into my life via Instag.ram. My dear half-sisto posted up photos of the interior design of the cafe as well as the delicious-looking cakes which made into the must-visit-place-the-next-time-I-visit-KL list.
After so many moons, I finally had the chance to return to KL for the 33rd Incovar Dharma Camp. Since the camp ended on Tuesday and Wednesday was a public holiday, I took the opportunity to meet old friends and also to explore new eateries.
Sudden crave for Korean food! ROFL.
Because of the crave, I shall blog about Korean food today! Haha!
Last year, after visiting the hot air balloon thingy, we went for lunch at Haeun Khon Restaurant on the 3rd floor of Amcorp Mall.
The food is delicious and surprisingly affordable too! I was thinking oh my, gonna burnt a hole in the pocket but I was quite stunned to know that the set costs like under RM20?!
Ah, now I crave for Korean food even moreeeee! Oh My BIBIMBAPPPPPPPP!

I love chocolate. Throw me a chocolate when I’m upset and I’ll be grinning from ear to ear later. Lol. Sat knew this weakness of mine, so he brought me to a chocolate-y restaurant last year. I fell in love with their chocolate drink that when the gang suggested for a place to meet up, I grabbed the opportunity to visit there again.
Okay, this post is super backdated. We went on 28th June 2009 but somehow I’ve overlooked this post. Hmph.
6 of us went there and seated on this comfortable sofa. We took quite some time to order, since we’re quite indecisive on what eat. Then we toyed the big guns a little while waiting for the food.
I always wish that I’m a bird, so that I could fly up and see the ground from above. My wish was granted – not being a bird, but having the ability of looking things from a ‘bird view’; many thanks to the 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Festival.
You see, looking down from the plane window isn’t counted since sometimes you can see the ground, sometimes you can’t because of the clouds!
Haha. So the day earlier, I purposely boarded the night bus all the way to Kuala Lumpur after work and bunked at my sis’s place for that weekend. The next morning, Sat picked me up and went all the way to Putrajaya for this festival. Upon entering the prominent bridge of Putrajaya, I could see the big balloons like “Levi’s”, “Darth Vader” and so on which got me very excited on it.
Then I told Sat, I wanna take picture with Dark Vader’s head! which he gave me the usual, “luannnnn.“
We spent almost an hour stuck in the jam in the car park area. The cars weren’t moving, people were honking and I seriously don’t understand why there’s only ONE entrance for going IN and OUT of the car park area? Can’t they foresee that MANY people would throng the area that weekend?
Obviously I was upset with the jam (I was pretty much calm earlier, but got fed up soon) is because the moment we parked our car, ALL THE NICE LOOKING BALLOONS WERE NO LONGER UP IN THE SKY! I was soooo disappointed as the main reason I insisted on coming to the Hot Air Balloon Fest is to take picture of those cute looking balloons. RWAR!
What’s down were already down. So we headed to the balloon ride area.
Happy Boxing Day! Got gifts you don’t like/already have? Box them up and give them to needy ones!
When I was in Penang, I saw tremendous tweets/twipics posted by the tweetpeps on this place. Which made me think that this place is a MUST-visit the next time I go KL. So, when the guys planned of having CC outing in Sunway and my girlfriends asked me out for the night, I immediately suggested to my girlfriends to meet me up at Snowflake, since it’s just opposite the FTZ Cybercafe.
Yes, it happened yesterday. I’m still in KL. This post is very quick I must say. Haha!
After having dinner at AsiaCafe, the guys decided to have Snowflake dessert for well, dessert! Though I was going there later on with my girlfriends, I don’t mind checking the place first. Hehe.
The guys went up first (it’s at the second floor of the shoplot facing AsiaCafe) while Sat and I went for Croc-shop! Got myself a nice Croc pump at price of 35. Hoho! I saw this beautiful boots but I didn’t get. Lol.
We then walked to the shop. The stairs are coloured with bright paints, which lighted up the stairways. Walking up 2 flight of stairs, we reached the entrance. The place is divided into 2 area – smoking and non-smoking. The guys were siting at the non-smoking area, munching halfway on their dessert by the time we reached there.

So, we immediately went and queued up. There was a long line there, but thankfully we didn’t queue long enough to curse. Haha!
