I received a sms from dugung 5.58pm today. Doubtful, I sent a message back to him, asking whether the news is true. A minute later Daphne msn-ed me, telling the same thing, along with link to NST online.
And so curiously I click on that link and this is what I get…
BREAKING NEWS: Petrol will be RM2.70 a litre at midnight tonight
by Newsdesk
PUTRAJAYA, Wed : The new price of petrol is RM2.70 per litre beginning midnight tonight, it was announced a moment ago by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad. Diesel will go up by RM1 per litre while the price for ULG 92 went up by 74 sen. The 78 sen hike or 40 per cent increase for the ULG 97 petrol is still below the antiticpated RM4 per litre price projected earlier and among the cheapest in Asia.
Okay… So I told my mum bout this, and she didn’t believe me at all. But I insist on going out and pumping my car. And I did go out to refuel at 6.15pm before sending my bro to tuition centre.
The queue was super duper longggg… -_____- and slowww. We waited 20 minutes there, no thanks to the big bulky lorries there, blocking the way. Isk. My bro was late for his tuition class bcz of those lorries la. ROAR.
So I went home after dropping him. I took Raja Uda road on my way back home and goodness, the road there jam like hell. Everyone was lining up to pump petrol fearing that the petrol station might out of petrol later. I feared that too, quickly told my mum that we gonna need to pump the other cars as soon as possible.
I then drove one car out with my sister. The queue was getting worst everywhere. However, I managed to squeeze myself and about 20 minutes later, it was my turn to pump.
Just as I slid in my credit card to the machine, the stupid blardy machine detained my card. #@*(&(*&$!!! I wasn’t that mad that time actually, was rather annoyed as I want to fuel my car without any hassle. I highlighted an Indian guy working there on this matter and he came, telling me that the whole thing has jam up. He then asked me to pay indoor.
LAZILY, i ran to the cashier and showed him my credit card. But he told me,
I was -__________________________________- Total major stimness!
Disappointed I walked to my car and drove to the side, letting those behind me to pump as I know I didn’t bring enough CASH to pump. I got only RM15 in my purse that time. My sis didn’t bring her purse plak. How to pump like that? Double major potong stim laaaaaa…..
Immediately I called my parents, asking them to come that petrol station as they’re queuing at other station to pump. While waiting for them, I queued again. The most potong stim part was some stupid fellas jump queue right in front of your eyes! ROARRRR!
Fine, I shall bear with your stupidity in jumping queue! Isk!
My dad came not long then, along with $. He pumped for that particular car while I went to look for my mum which was in another car and queued again to pump!
If you guys didn’t realise, I was queuing for the third time at the same petrol station d. We waited and waited and waited and suddenly, we were told that there were no more petrol, petrol habis along with the hand signal from the apek Cina and India. @.@
Disappointment hit me twice. I have to search for the next petrol station to feed my car. That time my car was running out of petrol – it was pointing at E! Feeling stressed (abit), I drove to the next one situated near the North-South highway and waited in line there.
It was drizzling. We patiently waited in line, while some idoits drove and cut cue! Few very angry and frustrated drivers began honking to show their anger. I didn’t do anything, just mouthed them for being so selfish. Bunch of penjual ikan (selfish)! Isk.
I got my turn quite fast. We waited bout 10 minute then get to fuel d. Knowing that there a long queue behind me, I quickly fueled my car and then drove off happily.
Yes, I spent my late afternoon pumping 3 cars that resulted me being so tired and weary now. Swt. How bout u?
*I know I should blog bout Incovar, but like usual, no photos, no post. I’m still waiting for them. Those I got with me here aren’t enough. So, pleaseeeeee send me thru MSN. Drop them into my sharing folders. Thanks.
The first time I heard this song was over the radio when I was in office, editing floor plan. My reaction was – hmm… this song not bad, I wonder what’s the title. Must download it! But thanks to my poor memory, I was unable to remember the title of the song. Just know that few local artists sang this song together.
One fine day, out of sudden, Nelson nudged me and sent me a song over MSN. I was like, okay. What’s that? Somehow I just know that that particular song is THE SONG. And Nelson reconfirmed that it’s.
Of cz I was overjoyed! I was looking for it and it came to me. Now I’m gonna put the song here and let the rest enjoys this relaxing song. I promise you it’s.
Hold on brother hold on
The road is long, we’re on stony ground
But I’m strong, and you ain’t heavy
Oh there’s a misspoken truth that lies
Colors don’t bind, oh no
What do they know? They speak falsely
Here in my home
I’ll tell you what it’s all about
There’s just one hope here in my heart
One love undivided
That’s what it’s all about
Please won’t you fall in one by one by one with me?
(Fall in~ Fall in~)
Fall in with me
(hmm … fall in~)
Fall in fall in fall in with me
Push back sister won’t you push back?
Love won’t wait, just keep pushing on
Yes I’m strong, you ain’t heavy
Oh don’t you worry about that …
What we have shadows can’t deny
Don’t you know it’s now or never?
Here in my home
I’ll tell you what it’s all about
There’s just one hope here in my heart
One love undivided
That’s what it’s all about
Please won’t you fall in one by one?

Last Wednesday, I received a news from my housemate that a friend of mine was being robbed IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE in SS2 at 9.15pm.
Apparently my friend went there to find my roommate to save something. He drove to my house, parked his car, walked to my gate and waited there as he thought my gate was locked. (It wasn’t at that time.) One of my housemate was at the porch that time, but because he didn’t really know him and because my roomie was at the door there, telling him that the gate wasn’t locked.
So, as he about to unleash the gate, 4 Malay guys on 2 bikes suddenly stopped in front of my house, went to my friend, showed him the ‘rusty’ parang knifes and demanded him to give them the things that he’s holding in his hand.
Somehow, he dropped the stuffs he’s holding and the guys bent down and took them, while still ‘shoving’ parang knife at him. As they sped off, my friend shouted help loudly. One of the guys, being so nasty even got down from the bike and ran towards my friend with the intention to assault him. Luckily my friend did the surrender gesture and he was left uninjured. Lost a mp3 player, handphone and pouch though.
Another friend of mine, also being robbed few days later. Asked whether it’s the same gang – wasn’t sure; but the method of approaching and the time are identical.
She was robbed of laptop (yes, laptop!!! @.@) at SS2, at around 9 something too! She was also being confronted by 4 Malay men and being blackmailed using rusty parang knives too. So, you tell me whether the two cases are related or not?
Did both of them report police? Of cz they did! Although not much information they can provide to the police force for unable to remember the plate number and the faces (due to the panic and fear that strike them and being snatched in such a quick pace), they still report for they believe this will alert the police to beef up the security in SS2, and to avoid other victims to fall into their prey. But then, the police told my friend (who was being robbed of laptop) that she’s CUAI, therefore being targeted by the robbers. Goodness! How can she be cuai when she just got out from car and minute later being robbed. -____-
After hearing both stories that occurred at SS2 within a week, really make me super paranoid bout staying in SS2 anymore. Last time I agreed to stay in SS2 cz there was safer than Sec17. But seems like I’m wrong. If can, I want to move back to hostel d. At least the probability of me being pointed with parang knife will reduce greatly, right?
Sigh… Actually this can appear to anyone and everywhere, like the news I read in thestar today bout the taxi driver (damn him! How can he be so CRUEL! I wish he got real heavy punishment) and was told from my mum bout a robbery that happened near my place. One survived, but the other one was killed, because the idoit fella wants to rob him badly.
Again, another case of money >>>> human life. Swt.
What’s happening to our society nowadays? Is the hike on the prices of flour, rice and meat cause all these to happen? Why can’t people earn money the right way? Why must they do such a nasty thing, worst MURDER PEOPLE?
*Long, endless sighs…
Nah, not controversial stuff, but on a famous blogger who blogs bout controversial things. Which actually something prompt me to blog bout him – RPK, Raja Petra Kamarudin on his arrest due to his latest post on Altantuya murder.
I didn’t know bout this until my friend, Song wrote bout his arrest on his MSN’s pm. I was indeed shocked, therefore asking him the reason. He then asked me to read bout it in MT.
So, I did. I read word by word. Again and again. And I don’t see any SEDITION there. What I see is he was just voicing his anger on this trial. I believe everyone sees it as I am too. Moreover, anyone that follows this case do feel the same way as he does. So what’s the problem there? Is it bcz he linked it with someone with high power therefore he got himself mencangkuk in jail? Sigh…
I hope he got bails out (aldo he refused). How can MT be MT without him? One of the reason people visits there cz we want to read what he blogs. So, don’t stay in the 4 walls cellar! Come out and BLOG MORE!
Ohya, I was astonished and then laughing damn hard when I read these..
Lim earlier chastised Khairy Jamaluddin (BN-Rembau) who questioned him on the repetition of Raja Petra’s use of the word “hell”.
“Do you not agree that the only one to determine whether a person will go to heaven or hell is God and not for us to determine,” asked Khairy.
Lim, however, thundered back: “We are not talking of religion! This is an expression that those who murdered Altantuya should be punished to the full extent of the law! It’s not about going to heaven or hell.
“If even this one cannot understand, what is the point of graduating from Oxford? This is a disgrace to the university,” he said, upon which the whole house again descended into chaos as both sides went back to shouting at each other.
Politicians. You’ll never understand them. *Sigh.
Ohya. Happy Birthday, mum~ *hugzzz~~~ I know I should have bought the Swensens special ice cream cake instead of their mango’s. -___-
Yes, these issues are still there – but was pushed to the ‘back’ and ‘hot’ anymore. Remember once kidnap case was super duper HOT and conquering the papers (for weeks)? I guess the trend shifted.
Anyway, today I’m not touching on politics and policies – I’m regarded as budak kecil yang tak tau benda, jangan kepo, jangan luan luan cakap. So, diam I will be. Today gonna blog on something that happened to me and my family members yesterday and earlier.
Regarding scam.
You know, those China man (no offense to those from China) or local (some bad, greedy Malaysian) called you up, telling you that you strike lottery or kena fined or some project cepat kaya; then asking you to bank in a LARGE SUM of money to your account they created oversea (actually is their account) and then never heard of them anymore. It was then it dawn on you that you’ve been cheated, duped; whine and cry over your losses; report this case to police and told media bout your plight.

A lady called my house yesterday. My sister answered it, and I wondered why she’s talking on the phone for so long. Then suddenly she can to me and my mum and complained bout this person who claimed that she’s from A’Farmosa (she mentioned in Mandarin) and wants to talk to my mum. The phone rang for the second time. My sis didn’t want to talk to her anymore, and asked my mum to listen. But 1 minute later, she ended the call. She said she unable to understand what the lady’s talking bout (my mum has this hearing problem and that lady was talking fast in strong Putonghua accent)
She called again. This time I answered the call. She asked for my mum, I told her my mum’s busy. What she wants? I forgotten what ends and that’s it. No more calls after that.
Or I thought so. Today, while my family and I were having lunch, the phone rang. My sister suddenly mouthed, “Must be that China lady! Jie, quickly go answer it!”
I was like, it can’t be her again.

The moment I said Hello, her familiar accent hit me. Obviously, she asked for my mum. Knowing that my mum will NEVER gonna talk to her, I told her, my mum’s having lunch now, not free to answer. Then she demanded to know who am I. Got pissed off by her, I asked, “Why you want to know who am I?”
Ignoring my question, she demanded to talk to my mum again. Once I told her that my mum’s busy, she repeated the question of asking who’s on the line again. Totally pekchek with her, with voice abit raise but still under control, I told her,
“I told you d. My mum is busy. And why you want to know who am I? Does it matter? Why are you calling here AGAIN AND AGAIN?!”
I think she got angry this time, cause she mumbled something – which I unable to decipher and then ended the call. I ended the call, laughing.
See HOW RUDE IS SHE?! How can you end your potential customer’s (victim’s) call?
Whatever it is, I figure out that this must be some scam that she want to introduce to my mum, but too bad, she got the wrong person to mess with d. Not easy to trick someone’s hard earned money okay! If you’re really from Farmosa Company or whatever stuff, you should converse in English or Malay. This is Malaysia, and like other countries; people talk bout business in Malay or English. Mostly in English. Only if the customer is not fluent in Malay/English, they switch to Mandarin. MALAYSIAN MANDARIN, not those Putonghua.
Don’t tell me that she’s really into selling something or recommend things, cause she can do so thru me. She can introduce those products/services to me first, and ask me to inform my mum bout it. I’ll listen to whatever she’s recommending (as a polite gesture). But she didn’t. All she wants is to talk to my mum and ‘brainwash’ her.
Ohya, my mum did talk to her. But did she manage to tell her anything? My mum doesn’t really want to listen to this kind of ‘recommendation’. She has totally no interest on phone-sales, skim-cepat-kaya, saman and stuffs. She believes if she really got saman, then they should send a letter, not informing thru phone. LOL!

To those scamp-ers, don’t think every Malaysian is stupid okay? Yes, you might fool some of us but not all. Plus we’re aware of this scam already, your tricks don’t work on us anymore.
SO, if the lady calls again tomorrow, I’m gonna answer the call by ‘Assalamuilakum’ and start talking in Malay or mumble some Tamil words to her – to scare her away. LOL!
*my sister who answered the phone first, said that the lady inquired about my mum, without letting her know what’s the purpose. Luckily my sister’s smart enough to tell her my mum’s surname only, nothing more. She also questioned her back, but I think the lady unsure of what to do and fear of being ‘exposed’, ended the call. If this is not a scam, then what can it be? LOL.*
