Deliciously Me

Everyone was stunned with what I said and looked at me. A minute later, WeiLoong spoke and allowed me to exchange duty with HooiChia. He did a run-down on the field trip which will be started at 5.30 in the morning before dismiss us.

I was still upset by the time the meeting over. I had to call Sat for ‘mental support’ before sleeping.

At 5 o’clock, when the bell ran, I woke up too and I could tell that the participants were a little shock and clueless on what was going on when they were told to only brush their teeth and went down to the activity hall immediately with only jacket (if they’re cold) and water bottle. The air-conds in the activity hall were blasted to the maximum speed to ensure that the participants felt cold and went up to grab their jackets/sweaters.

What a day to start my Monday. Lol!

Being an avid food lover, B and me always scout for new place to eat each time we went out. This time, we walked into this Vietnamese Restaurant situated on the 3rd floor of Midvalley Shopping Mall.

We were greeted warmly by a young lady waitress; then led us to a table of 8 (@.@!) where we shared with another person who sat at the other end there. Both B and me didn’t really mind bout the table-sharing, so we just sat there. Lol! There was already 2 sets of menu along with an order list and a pencil on the table.

The menu’s outlook is simple – greenish blue menu bearing the logo and name of the shop in front. But as we opened up the menu, pages of the food pictures greeted our eyes. All of them looked very delicious and I told B that I felt like ordering all from the menu!

After wasting like 10 minutes looking at the menu and asking each other what to order, we passed our order list to the lady boss – if not mistaken. I told B that I felt like taking out my dslr out but I was shy to do so. Didn’t do that for so long d, not used to taking pictures (especially food) in public already.

But B said, “just take out lar.” So I did. Lol!

Soon, our food ‘arrived’. In fact they came quite fast!

B’s was rich in ingredient – the noodle was covered with minced pork and sliced chicken meats, prawns, bird egg! It came along with 2 pieces of keropok! It was delicious but a bit salty for my liking. But the soup was rich. *thumb up*

As for mine, it was good! And healthy too. Eating all those mixed veges and the vermicelli – really refreshing. The popiah and ‘chicken-cake’ (it’s like fishcake but it’s chicken instead of fish) that came with the special spicey dipping sauce further enhanced the dish by giving in a different flavour. Yummeh!

Our drink soothed our throat and quenched our thirst. The longan was too sweet for me, but the jelly was yummylicious! I think I swallowed in most of the jelly compared to B. Haha!

When the food came, I immediately asked B to take picture of my food and then started eating. Was too hungry. Thus the picture below. Lol!

I noticed quite a lot of patronisers ordered this colourful dessert, assumed that this is one of their popular dessert there. I was considering on ordering this but after looking at the mouth-watering picture of it in the menu, I told B to order.

The dessert tasted like the cendol but the difference is it was put on a very nice glass and there was coconut milk poured on top of the ice. We felt the dessert was bit ‘santan-ised’ (coconut milk-ed), that cause us feeling thirsty. Regretted finish up the longan drink earlier than the dessert. -.-”

Overall it was a satisfying a meal – with affordable price.

Rated 7 for food and 6.5 for ambience.

Today I thought of writing a short post but couldn’t find a decent one to blog about. Even tho I did have lots whines and whims to ‘share’, but I decided today shall not be the day to do so. Hehehe!

May I should start with Cambodia. Hope to make it quick and brief. Haha.

Before that I would like to wish my mum, Happy Birthdayyyyyyy! May mummy stays pretty and young always~
Hope you love the dinner treat at Sakae Teppanyaki & Sakae Izayana (not sure bout the spelling) even tho it’s not that nice – that I’ll blog bout it on other day.

I guess I couldn’t blog on Cambodia today. The imageshack is not working for me. *wuuwuu*
I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes for the stupid pics to be uploaded but all I see is white blank page. And it’s getting late. About time for me to jump to bed.

Nvm then. I shall try my luck tomorrow and see if I could get all the pictures uploaded. Maybe I should seize this opportunity to watch the MDG episodes 18 till current. Yeah, I should do so since B keeps tempting me by telling me bout this and that on MDG episodes.

Time to watch the ‘drama’. Till then… *Lalalalaaaaa~
