DIY: Baby Booties (Fabric)

I always want to do this since I was in second trimester, but didn’t have the chance to do so because I was either working or busying preparing for baby stuffs. I did a pair of baby booties in September but I used felt. Finally I had the time to try the fabric baby booties when my maternity leave starts before the baby is out. After all few bundles of fabrics I ordered from Taobao had arrived few weeks earlier that time and hence I have no reason to not doing this.  I looked through plenty of tutorials before deciding…

The journey of finding the right gynae

It’s not easy to decide on a gynaecologist after knowing that you’re pregnant. My journey of finding the right gynae has costs me more $$$ that I would expect. Initially, I thought I would go to the gynae that my mum went to when she had my younger sister and my younger bro. The maternity centre is in BM and it’s much cheaper than going to private hospital. Furthermore mum spoke highly of her gynae, Dr Wan. So I went to KS Wan & Looi Maternity Centre for my first check-up. To my dismay, Dr Wan was on long leave.…

Korean cuisine at Haeun Khon, Amcorp

Sudden crave for Korean food! ROFL. Because of the crave, I shall blog about Korean food today! Haha! Last year, after visiting the hot air balloon thingy, we went for lunch at Haeun Khon Restaurant on the 3rd floor of Amcorp Mall. The food is delicious and surprisingly affordable too! I was thinking oh my, gonna burnt a hole in the pocket but I was quite stunned to know that the set costs like under RM20?!  Ah, now I crave for Korean food even moreeeee! Oh My BIBIMBAPPPPPPPP! >___________<

Indon XVI: Ubud-–-the land of fine arts

It’s said that Ubud is famous for arts – and it’s absolutely true as I saw plenty artistic handicraft shops all the way to the city. I knew we’ve entered the city judging from the amount of tourist buses and the intensity of people there! Oh well, I am not surprised with the amount of people there as the road is aligned with shops on the both sides! Even I would want to enter those shops just to check their goods out though I was almost penniless. Lol. Mr. van driver turned left into a smaller road and stopped at the…

Shook!

As Penang is famous for its cheap, delicious hawker food, Starhill Gallery’s Feast Village is the place to go for fine dining. We happened to dine at one of the fancy restaurant last month to celebrate mah B’s birthday. It was seriously one of the unforgetable nights. Memorable, though the place is far more classier than the KL revolving restaurant. (Gosh, I haven’t blog about that yet) Let me quote from the Starhill Gallery website on the fancy restaurant that we went, Shook! is an exciting restaurant concept and the first of its kind in Malaysia. The menu flirts with seasonal trends…
