place for sweet tooth

Posted Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

Whenever we dine at Autocity, mum would suggest us to go to this cafe called Ice Ice Baby. I don’t know why she fancy that cafe so much; probably has a penchant for sweet thing.

Since it was a sunny afternoon, we didn’t object at all, lol.

Like usual, the waiter came.. ordered, bla bla bla… and then the drink/desserts came. :)

back from great trip!

Posted Sunday, December 26th, 2010

The month of December is definitely the month full of surprises. So many unexpected things cropped up – one of them happened 4 days ago: Phuket.

This trip is so last minute, so unplanned with me doing all the bookings few days before flying. About to lose my mind for this, but I’m glad that I managed to pull this through. It was a well-deserving trip for me and my family.

Phi-Phi shall be my little escapade in future. Definitely will be. Awesomest island. <3

Stay tune for the posts. :)

clothes

My 8 feet long wardrobe was so full of dust and fungus ‘motives’ that I decided to do a little spring cleaning in my room. Armed with mixture of detergent and Dettol, I wiped the whole wardrobe inside out sparkling clean and dust and fungus free! Whee!

Seeing the amount of clothes in my wardrobe, I decided to reduce them by taking out the clothes that I could not longer fit in and the ones that I won’t wear anymore. Took out few jeans, old and small size shirts and old dresses and put them aside…

..and that’s when my mum walked in.

dinner at Dome

Posted Sunday, October 17th, 2010

Been ages since I wrote about food – guess it’s time to write one! :)

One fine day, many, many months ago – my parents and I visited to have dinner at Dome outlet in Gurney Plaza. Though Dome is popular for very fragrance and delicious coffee, they offer variety of dishes too!

Like usual – we walked in, took seat at the comfy sofa and were given menus. We ordered shortly after browsing through the menu and then waited patiently for our order to come.

MY MUST ORDER : a cup of mocha which came with 2 pieces of my favourite cookie, biscotti!

It was an impromptu trip. A week before the trip we were talking about it. 5 days prior to the trip we booked our rooms. We were lucky as there weren’t many rooms left and it was the beginning of the long weekend.

Besides being forced to take leave, sister came back home and bro was in school holiday, mum and dad received email to book room for only 1GP.

So much of coincidence propelled us to make this sudden trip to a fun city above the clouds, Genting Highlands. That’s the Genting tagline by the way.

Come 9th of September, a day before Raya where everyone woke up way too early in the morning and departed from our home at 5.30am. Well, my bro proposed us to start journey at 4, but everyone was reluctant to leave the bed. Lol!

The highway was packed with car even at 5 in the morning as PLUS offered additional 10% to the existing 10% discount on class 1 vehicles during off peak hours every day. Do bear in mind, the off peak hour is from 12 midnight till 7 in the morning.

Well, we missed it by 15 minutes! We got off the highway at Ipoh for breakfast and mum nonchalantly said the promotion was valid whole day for that weekend when I insisted it wasn’t. So dad drove slowly and we even took our own sweet time at the R&R.

We dropped by a corner lot kopitiam somewhere in Taman Ipoh for breakfast. If not mistaken, the kopitiam is called Restaurant Ria Sentosa. Ordered their wantan mee and it is not bad. :)
