Birthday celebration at David Brown’s Restaurant and Tea Terraces

To think about it, Satkuru’s birthday celebrations since 4 years ago have been rather extraordinary. *perasan mode* The first year we celebrated together in 2009, I got him his favourite MU jersey with his name ‘tattooed’ at the back all the way from UK (thanks to my good friend Karen for her help). In 2010, we celebrated in Ferringhi Garden Restaurant where we dined in candlelight (uber romantic celebration). The best celebration would be in 2011 where bunch of us celebrated his birthday in CHINA. As for this year I chose to bring him uphill.  2 weeks prior to his…

10 photos

I feel like updating my blog today – supposed to write a foodie post but not so fit to do so. Suspect myself to be a victim of food poisoning as my tummy is in discomfort the whole day today! Argh. Hate it when I’m not feeling well. Grrr Since I have no energy to write, I’m thinking why not post up photos! I went through my photo album earlier and found few great photos waiting to be published here. You may not find them great, but to me they are. So, keep your opinion to yourself. Wahaha!  Photo 1: Brown shoes.…

Wedding: Sari quest

A whole super sunny Saturday spent in Little India! After lunch at Woodlands, we went from one shop to another asking for the bridal makeup package. The first shop was full, so we left after were shown the makeup package by the Indonesian worker. We then went to the second shop. However the owner told us that their makeup artist no longer works there. As for the third shop, the owner wasn’t in and all the workers were busy threading customers’ faces, so nobody was free to entertain us. The forth shop’s worker served us with super bored face. She…

dinner at Dome

Been ages since I wrote about food – guess it’s time to write one!  One fine day, many, many months ago – my parents and I visited to have dinner at Dome outlet in Gurney Plaza. Though Dome is popular for very fragrance and delicious coffee, they offer variety of dishes too! Like usual – we walked in, took seat at the comfy sofa and were given menus. We ordered shortly after browsing through the menu and then waited patiently for our order to come. MY MUST ORDER : a cup of mocha which came with 2 pieces of my…

Blogfest.Asia 2010

I did a live blogging during the forum before the lunch time but the unstable connection made it disappeared as the WordPress for iPhone apps doesn’t have the auto save function. *cry* I didn’t switch on 3G as I was saving my phone’s battery. Oh well, here’s a quick recap of what happened from yesterday night till this afternoon. All photos are taken with my iPhone4 as I decided not to bring my DSLR there.  BlogFest. Asia 2010 started on the 1st of October with a Penang Heritage tour for the participants. I couldn’t join that as I was working, and decided…

Fickle Minded

Do you ever been in the situation where you can’t seem to make up your decision on what you want? Keep switching TV channels because both channels are playing your favourite Desperate Housewives and House? Repeatedly swapping the smoking hot red dress and the little black dress because you want to impress your date? Order a McValue meal and cancel it for GCB because they look more appealing but change back as you didn’t have enough cash on hand for GCB? Told your workers to do plan A but call it off because plan B looks better? Then my friends,…

Mid-Autumn Celebration

It supposed to be a pre-birthday celebration at Seoul Garden Autocity for dad with the family. Little did we know that there was bigger celebration at Autocity itself. ^^ We decided to have a walk at the SHOP IN d’PARK after the super full buffet dinner. When we reached there, we saw few cute looking tanglung with a long white paper hanging below it. A closer look revealed few Chinese words on that paper. Apparently there was competition going on. The participants were to look for these tanglung and answered the questions on the paper. It seemed like the questions…

rainbow and small tornado

Took these today. One in the morning when I’ve reached the office, one in the afternoon when I was driving back home. Notice the one I took while driving back home, on the right side you can see the downpour and if zoom a little bit nearer, you can see a small ‘tornado’ jutting out of the cloud. Quite scary scene to see if you asked me. Lol. However, the rainbow shot is totally lovely. I love rainbow, it always makes me smile.
