Deliciously Me

Putting the 'licious' in everything

A quarter of the century

Posted Sunday, September 5th, 2010

Finally, the birthday is here. Lol!

Or should I said WAS here since I’m like a quarter of century and 13 days young d. Hehe!

I started my day early as I got ready for work that day. I didn’t take leave like what my colleagues do since I was saving my leaves for coming my trips. Thankfully nothing major problem cropped up so my mood was absolutely good.

And I went home at 5pm. :P Quickly showered and get ready for dinner. ^^

Dad came back with a parcel from Baskin Robbin, which went directly to the fridge. Haha!

Then off we went to Sakae Sushi at Sunway Carnival for a little celebration. I opted for sushi since I didn’t want to go far to celebrate as I need to work the next day.

And I was one happy kid for I ordered their Kid’s Meal. :P

Mum said I am the overgrown kid. I told her that I need to unleash the child in me mah. Lololololol!

After dinner we went back home and started the candle-blowing-cake-cutting ceremony. Haha!

When I unboxed the package, I gave a soft cry. I never thought the cake would be so lovely!

The most beautiful cake I ever gotten in my life.

However, I told mum that the cake is more for valentine celebration rather than birthday because of the much hearts. But nevertheless, I told mum that the hearts represent hers and dad’s love for me. Keke!

As the cake looks so lovely, my bro, dad and I took many pictures of the cake. Mum on the other hand, kept asking us to light up the candle quickly but we ignored her. Only when we saw the sign of melting, we stop taking picture and started placing the candles on the cake. But the heat from the candles making the cake melted more and worst when I took quite some time making wishes. Bewildered, mum asked how many wishes I made.

Despite the cake being an ice cream cake, I still did the cake-cutting thingy as it’s the appropriate thing to do. Lol. But after that, we directly attacked the cake with spoons; scooping the cake from all directions. Haha!

Totally love the strawberry cheesecake ice-cream cake. We walloped the whole thing in under half an hour. Such a satisfying cake. *nom nom*

What a happy, happy day! ^^
