Putting the 'licious' in everything

a starcruise-y dream that ends at 9..

The next activity in the Lounge was line-dancing. I thought of participating, but Sat was more eager to enter the casino. He thought that line dancing on Star Cruise Pisces is a waste of time.

So I asked him, what’s not waste of time then?

He grinned and said, C A S I N O!

We went down and were stopped by the security guy at the entrance because Sat looked young. I was like, what?!!!

Sat had to show him his driver licence where he pointed to his IC number as proof that he’s over 21.

There’s nothing much to say about the casino… just the usual tai sai, jackpot machines, roulette, player banker.. so I skipped that part. Kaka.

Feeling sien after lingering in the casino,we went around, exploring again.

We went out to Deck 11 where we spotted a family of 5 lying on the lazy chairs. The parents were soundly asleep while the kids – well, they were happily chatting and singing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

Accompanied with the kids’ singing, we sat the lazy chairs, looking for stars which were hiding behind clouds. It’s been long since I felt so relax where worries and problems seemed so far away!

Sat then took out his iPhone and checked the coordinate again. He was so eager to know where we were at that time. But the signal wasn’t strong and it took a while to reveal the location.

And we found ourselves moving up North!

We speculated that the ship was already in the International water (since the casino already opened its door) and we could be somewhere on the tip of between Peninsula and Sumatra.

Then we decided to check out the cinema. We went into the auditorium to watch Ocean Eleven for 15 minutes before heading back to the cabin for a good night sleep.

However, I discovered one of the TV channel aired same movie as the one in auditorium. So I watched the movie until I slept off. Lol!

I woke up at 6 something the morning. Took quick shower and then went to the casino again.

From the casino, we headed to the reception area to find people lining at a temporary counter. Curiously we went to the reception counter to inquire. The same lady then revealed that the counter is for claiming back our ICs/passports but one need to clear the outstanding bills first.

So I quickly paid for the Bingo and the lanyards and then got back my IC. :)

Had breakfast at the Ocean Palace, the breakfast buffet spread is almost the as the one in Genting.

The bread toast with kaya and thick spread of butter I supposed is HEAVENLY! Gosh, I’m craving for one now!

Other than that, there’s nothing much to shout about too; except that when we were eating, the sun rose from the horizon and I was so upset for not able to witness that spectacular moment. :(

After breakfast, we just walked around the ship, taking photographs. The ship was cruising by the Penang Island and somehow the island looks different! It’s like looking at Hong Kong Island! Haha.

I even spotted jellyfishes floating on the sea! I was damn happy to spot them as I used to count jellyfishes when I took ferry to and fro Penang Island during my guiding time.

I was gladly counting them though the count wasn’t high compared to about 10 years ago.

Soon, the sun began to shine so brightly that I can’t open my eyes when I was asked to smile. @_@

And I kept seeing shadows everywhere. Blinded by the sun!

Luckily the pictures look lovely! The blue sky, the white paint of the body, green floor gave out nice contrast… except for me. Hmm. I should have wear red top like what Sat did and cover my eyes with spectacles! Haha.

Now you agree too right? Haha!

The ship touched the port at exactly 9 o’clock! Went back to the cabin to grab our belongings. Took few last shots before leaving.

We then proceed with the check-out process by scanning our cruise cards at the same machine when we got in. The cards were then given back to us as souvenirs.

This overnight cruise is a good experience and great insight on the luxury ship as I always wonder what it is like in it and how to spend time on board. Moreover Star Cruise Pisces though it’s smaller than its counterparts did give us a sense of rejuvenation and relaxation at such an attractive price. It’s such a waste for not be able to try all the facilities in the Star Pisces as we have only 12 hours on board; BUT I would definitely love to board the bigger cruises like Superstar Aquarius and Superstar Virgo for more days.

Now, who says cruising is for the rich people? Haha!
